Notes

Peter Muno owned 80 acres "west" of the "Ridge". He came from the City of Damflos, Province of Trier, Germany and upon arrival in 1845 built a farmhouse at 7504 Ridge Ave. The area was known as Ridgeville at the time and was incorporated under that name in 1850.

His neighbor and fellow Damflos Countryman, Johann Peter Schmitt (Schmidt)had settled Ridgevlle 3 years earlier at 6800 Ridge, about a mile south of him.
