The northside lawn has a well and in the coming years Howard (Howie) Benesch, Husband of Audry Fortman shall construct a multi-room substantial doll house some 10 feet high. Adjacent the Doll House Howie builds a "Pool", all of "ankle deep" with it's own filling hose that led to many a water-fight. (per Janet Fortman 9/20/2011) |

Located on the West side of Western Ave just north of Touhy Ave this "watering-hole" had a dedicated following from the Fortman Greenhouse workers on the East Side of Western Ave. A "cool-one" revived the spirits under a blistering summer sun. In 1958 several doors south the Mark II Tavern is opened by Uncle George ?, a Greek, who then sells it to his son and then opens the Clover Club on Howard St. (per Renee Toinai 9/20/2011) |

The new location even has a well on the side of the house and apple trees on the south side. A major several room doll house will be built by Howie Benesch next to the apple orchards on the South side. |
