- From Post Cards it is apparent that by 1909 and in 1911 Francis Elizabeth Hooley Morris's asmatic health is so severe that she leaves her children, John, Robert, and Mary Madeline Morris with her sister to go to the country for relief. By 1911 she shall only have 4 more years to live. [d. 3 Jul 1915]

- Upon the asmatic death of her 40 year old sister, Francis Elizabeth, Mary Jane Hooley Dunn shall raise her deceased sister's children, Robert, age 11, John, age 10, and Mary Madeline, age 8, Morris. She is called "Grandma Dunn".
- Post Card dated: June 28th, 1909 and postal stamped ?VIRGIL, ILL. and addressed to Mrs. Joseph Dunn at 1286 Congress St. Chicago, IL
stating: Dear Friend, "Just in time." I am having such a lovely time in the country out riding every day it is just beautiful. Hoping all is well Marie & Elizabeth. Love to all. Mrs Eagan

My Dear Friend,
"I hope all are well. I am having a fine time, Francis [presumably Mary Madeline's Mother} is so good in the country." {Francis is about age 40.} signed: Mrs Eagan
[apparently Mrs Eagan is writing a post card to Francis Elizabeth's sister Mary Jane Hooley [Dunn] describing her sisters health in the country.
