The final resting place of Fortmann's, Gross & Kleine Fortmann's, Landwehr's, Krogmann's Haskamp's and the Catholics of Lohne from 1834 back to 1221 and the Medieval town of Lohne founded 980 AD  

 0815 to 855 to Present.......St. GERTRUDE KATHOLICISCHEN KIRCHE

Notes: Founded between 815 and 855 by Benedictine Irish & English Monks, who, having obtained permission from the region's Prince, sailed down the Ems and Rhine Rivers to convert the local heathen Germans............ Burial Cemetery for VORDE, VORTMANN, KLEINEFORTMANN, GROSSFORTMANN, FORTMANN, KROGMANN, HASKAMP as well as the Brettberg Castle Lords Ehrendorf and Dorgelo who were the Lords of the Fortmann's from at least 1381 [only 32 years after "The Great Pestilance".] into the late 1700's.
