Munster, Germany Catholic Cathederal begun in 1120 AD, expanded in 1210, finished in 1230 AD
The Cathederal was originally owned by the people of Munster and only in 1588 when the Jesuit Fathers were brought in to improve its University academic standing did the Cathederal revert to the Catholic Church.
.....................This is the third Cathederal on the site and it was not bombed during the Second World War. (The B-17 crew assigned to bomb it mistakenly bombed another Cathederal in nearby Holland.)
.....................Located only 47 miles (4 1/2 hours on horseback) SW of Lohne 22 Generations of Formann's from 1120 to 1840 would surely have stood in awe in front of it. .......................We look at it 7 generations after Clemens and Heinrich left it in abt. 1845.
